Weekend Recap: October Fun Part 3

I feel like I blinked and October is almost over, so in an effort to make the most of the two weeks we have left, B (my husband) and I decided to pack this weekend full of fun fall events.  I even took a half day on Friday so that we could have a impromptu fall date!

We started our date at Delicious Orchards, a local specialty food store that has the best stuff!

I love me an ugly pumpkin!

Their cheese selection is seriously overwhelming – in a good way!

Apples as far as the eye can see! B & I took home a bag of honeycrisp – our new favorite.

Next up, we went to a nearby pumpkin patch, enjoyed a non-scary hay ride, and even visited their petting zoo!

This guy was my new best friend… I’d like to think it was because of my bubbly personality and not the cup of feed in my hand. =)

The largest turkey I have ever seen!

Finally, we went for a trail run at a state park on our way home.  Usually I hike the trails, so running them was no joke.  I am still sore!

Saturday was the second anniversary of my beloved grandmother’s passing, so I mostly spent the day with family after leaving flowers for her at the cemetery.

We had a "Cousins Lunch" at Jose Tejas, which has the most delicious food!

After brunch in the city, I spent the rest of the day getting ready for our Halloween party next weekend!
