Monday Madlibs with #NoExcuses in 2015

madlibgraphic To kick off the #SweatPink #NoExcuses challenge today, I was asked to do a Monday Madlib post about my goals for 2015.  (As I learned from my recent Proust Questionnaire post, answering questions about myself can be both entertaining and enlightening.)  Want to join in on the fun?  1.  Copy the questions below; 2. Fill in the blanks with your own answers; and 3. Tag 3 friends to share how they’ll make 2015 the year of #NoExcuses!  (Note: my smart aleck comments are also underlined; you don’t have to fill those in.)

  • Hey 2015, it’s me SavvySleever.  (nickname, spirit animal, real name, blog name)

  • This year I would like to drink more water, work out 15 minutes each day, and develop more healthy recipes.

  • It would also be super duper awesome if I also did a 5 K this year.  It’s not a resolution, though, just a reminder to myself to try and have the best year yet because if I set my mind to something I know I can do it.

  • The thing I am looking forward to most this year is quality time with my husband.

  • I’ll use the one thing that truly gets me out of bed in the morning which is coffee (#amiright?!?) to help me get up, get moving (verb) and get after my #NoExcuses 2015.

  • Speaking of excuses (ahem), my very favorite excuse is I’m too tired from work and I have used it to get out of doing my daily workouts and taking a longer walk with the dog on more than 27 (number) occasions.

  • I vow to move my body and be more healthy this year even if it means I have to schedule in my workouts.

  • Even if my alarm clock gets eaten by the dog in the middle of the night, I’ll still try to wake up on time.

  • I will stop blaming the dog [ex: kids, dog, husband] for eating the rest of the peanuts when everyone knows it was really me.  (Seriously though, I need it for my PB&J Yogurt!)

  • My job [job, hair, car, husband, kids] is not the reason I make excuses.  I will show my job [same as before] who’s boss (Pun intended!) this year and get my squats [type of sweaty activity] on (even while at work!)

  • I know that strength training [type of workout] is better than sleeping [noun]. (Totally pained me to say that.)

  • I will reward myself by buying delicious, organic, and healthy foods.

  • No Excuses 2015 has just begun and already I am imagining myself a winner.  I can’t wait to rock a Zeal Hoodie (article of clothing) from Augusta Active.  I can’t wait till my sweaty friends are jealous of how fresh, clean and sparkling (adj) I am between workouts with help from ShowerPill body wipes.  I can see myself rocking downward dog [yoga pose / workout move] in new Pocket This Pant [article of clothing from Actio926] from Actio926 and looking fit and fly while doing it.  And of course, I’ll be taking my workouts to the next level and improving my core [noun] with my new ActivMotion Bar to help me train for my next  5K [distance] race with Sasquatch Racing.

  • Oh, and let’s not forget how amazing my leggings [article of clothing] will smell in my / during my CrossFit [favorite type of workout] after washing with some WIN Detergent.  And lastly, I’ll keep rocking my 2015 with clean eats and nutrition from Beaming with Health!

What are some of your goals in 2015?

xoxo – SavvySleever
